SAAPAM PLEDGES TO THE SOLIDARITY FUND TO FIGHT COVID-19 IN SOUTH AFRICA
The South African Association of Public Administration and Management (SAAPAM) pledges R50000-00 to the Solidarity Fund to fight COVID-19 in South Africa, this is after the call made by the President of the Republic of South Africa, Mr Cyril Ramaphosa that individual and organisations may donate.
The SAAPAM is making a clarion call to its members and society to donate voluntarily to the Solidarity Fund to fight COVID-19. Professor Zweli Mpehle, President of the Association said: “it is important that as a professional association and individuals, we join hands to assist our Government to fight COVID-19 pandemic. We must always adhere to the regulations and take necessary precaution” and he further said: “We hope the contribution will make a difference in fighting this COVID-19 pandemic”.
The Association`s mission is to encourage and promote good governance and effective service delivery through the advancement of professionalism, scholarship and practice in public administration and management.
“We must always stand together and united in our pursuit to fight COVID-19 pandemic,” concludes Prof Mpehle.
