| Educational Qualification(s) | Master of Public Administration/Management/Affairs or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 9; or a cognate qualification at NQF Level 9. |
| Designation Competencies |

Panel interview conducted by peers appointed by the Certification Committee; or Submission of a Portfolio of Evidence. |

| Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) |
SAAPAM recognises alternative pathways to demonstrate competence through prior learning and experience. Applicants must submit a Portfolio of Evidence including: • Comprehensive CV • Detailed work experience and job descriptions • List of relevant training courses (provider, dates, and outcomes) • Certified copies of qualifications (verified via SAQA) and/or professional memberships • Testimonials from employers or supervisors • Evidence of conference presentations and at least two published journal papers Candidates must also attend a panel interview arranged by SAAPAM. |
